Energetic and hardworking, DJ Irene is one of the hottest things to have happened to LA. DJ Irene has been spinning ‘em hard, as they say, in a male dominated industry for more than a decade now, carving out a niche, all her own, in her own inimitable style.

Her residencies at the legendary ‘Circus Disco’ , ‘Arena’ and ‘Robbies’ stand testimony to her incredible talent and infectious enthusiasm for dance music. Night after night, she churns out some of the most hard, energetic, and driving house music that one can hope to find. An innate ability to connect with people keeps her going, right from the time she began spinning first, in 1984. This was the time when she was in college. There she met Henry De Lapena and life was soon to change. Henry guided her hobby into a career. Irene would practice for hours together, being behind the decks at local rave parties.

Her ‘Hard House Live’ mixed live at the legendary superclub Arena was a smashing success and dominated dance music scene like never before. Irene is more than just a DJ. She has done a radio mix gig, remixer, producer, and a billboard reporting spot, you name it and she would have been there, done it. Her production and remixing skills were evident in ‘Don’t Go Breakin’ My Heart’, ‘Ole’ by Kahuna and ‘You Gotta Pay Me’ with Rudy Rude Dog. No less than Disney included her mix of ‘Someday’ by Donna Summer from the popular Beauty & The Beast on the Disney Mouse House Remix Compilation. For around a decade, she has been the favorite of dance floors and amazingly continues to be so, with her refreshing ability to come out with something new, every time.
