Nick Warren

Nick Warren is a superstar DJ and a household name that has played around some of the best clubs around the world. His residency at superclub Cream (UK) was a hit. Nick moved to Bristol and began DJing here at his own club called ‘The Wiggle’.

During the early nineties, Nick Warren gradually became the most happening thing in Bristol while playing house records and exploring hip hop and club. He recorded a track under the name 0272 for a charity along with Massive Attack, Smith, Mighty, and Tricky. He was later to accompany Massive Attack on their first US tour, officially as a DJ. He had a successful stint with Liverpool‘s G-Love night club before moving on to Cream.

Nick has worked hard to gain the respect of his fans and he knows how to take a crowd higher and higher. This comes with experience which he gained while growing up on punk, reggae, and pop. It was in 1990 at Vision that he perfected his DJing skills and that is where Massive Attack was mighty impressed with his DJing skills.

He has appeared on features on almost all leading dance music magazines. He had also teamed up with another Bristol based producer Jody Wisternoff in 1994 to form ‘Way Out West’. They had together recorded ‘Ajare’, a huge progressive house club hit.

Then came his ‘The Gift’ and swiftly catapulted him into international orbit. Nick is constantly touring around the world as a DJ, playing in places like Singapore, Australia, and Europe, regularly. This superstar DJ’s album ‘Blue’ stayed on the top of the charts in UK for a long time. There are DJs and there is Nick Warren.
